Theakston's is a traditional family owned brewery based in the Yorkshire Dales market town of Masham. It offers customers a visitors centre and brewery tours as well as various merchandise for sale. The brewery is also home to one of the last remaining 'Coopers' still hand crafting Oak beer barrels in the UK.

Masham is also the venue where thousands of people annually visit the Steam Rally and Sheep Fair as well as various other events held throughout the year in and around this picturesque market town.

For around ten years now Sound Hire has provided Sound Reinforcement systems in the form of Wireless Loudspeaker and Wireless Microphone systems for the various Coopering Demonstrations held at the above events.

For the 2011 Steam Rally and Sheep Fair we supplied Theakston's with some of our latest indoor/outdoor Wireless Speaker systems offering additional features including the ability to offer Multiple Radio/Wireless Microphone systems as well as built in CD/MP3 and USB playback. These new units also offer the user a much quicker recharge time (if required) for the internal 12v batteries while still being able to operate for up to eight hours on a full charge. These units can also be used (without the need to recharge) via a standard 13a mains supply.
